A month long celebration and showcase of STEM education.
WEEK ONE: CELEBRATING EDUCATORS
March 14 - 21 STEM Education Month kicks off on Pi Day! During week one we'll showcase and celebrate SC Educators. Comporium in partnership with South Carolina Future Minds, Dominion Energy, and SCCMS/S²TEM Centers SC are joining together to honor teachers who are inspiring students across the state to develop a passion for STEM subjects. WEEK THREE: CELEBRATING SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS
March 28 - April 4 We have amazing schools and students! During week three we'll be highlighting the accomplishments of school STEM programs and initiatives and students who've committed to STEM careers. SCCMS is once again awarding STEM grants to foster new STEM initiatives in classrooms and schools. |
WEEK TWO: CELEBRATING PROGRESS IN STEM EDUCATION
